Question of the decade for you Ed001. Messi or Ronaldo?

The bigger question is Maradona or Pele.

For me Pele was the greatest footballer.

Maradona was a magician but Pele was the king.

I guess it depends where your club is in terms of completed. If u have a somewhat blank canvas to work with, Messi all day. Build the team around him and u win games.

Ronaldo is more of a thoroughbred u add to an already strong and complete team and he will win u games.

Just like ed says, it's close but none are near Marradona, Best, Cruyff or Dalglish etc for me.
As ed says further down put them players on the pitches these days and it would be scary.

Zidane for me never seemed to get out of first gear buetiful footballer who controlled the tempo of matches like a symphonist of the midfield balance aggression final ball awesome footballer.
