LFC have come out of months long discussions with the supporters group over ticket prices and actually raised ticket prices for next season rather than reducing them or even freezing them.

If the owners were going to have price freezes/ reductions then next season, with the increased revenue would have been the perfect time but they have disregarded what the fans want.

I reckon the locals are getting priced out, this will mean even less will be able to come, there will be more tourists from abroad and won't help the 'Anfield is a graveyard' problem.

{Ed002's Note - You are still struggling with the concept of having to manage the massive debt that the club is already in with the additional debt the club is taking on at the moment.}

Same at Utd, City, Chelsea, and Everton (if they ever win a trophy)

Anyway, Liverpool have treated their supporters like Dirt years.

If they had pulled their fingers out years ago and exploited the market when we had the chance, then the fans wouldn't suffer.

It's these kids I feel sorry for as they will struggle, unless of course, Daddy is prepared to pay for them first class with an inflated priced ticket.

That's never going to happen in one of the poorest cities in the country, is it?

Fantastic news - People who pay more appreciate what they get! Look at the amount of money our away fans pay to attend games and look at the much better results because you can hear them supporting the team.

Unlike Anfield where the so called fans grumble instead of supporting ALL THE PLAYERS and wonder why we lose.

Why would this news surprise anyone with these owners? But they saved us didn't they so they can do whatever they like. When will people wake up to these vampires!

{Ed001's Note - this was always going to happen and it was very obvious they would raise the ticket prices. Sad because it is down to their inability to keep a check on spending or it would not be needed.}

I completely understand where your coming from Ed and why it has to happen, but some of the reported prices like £70 is getting to the stage where its ridiculous for a club which is touted as 9th richest in the world. There has definately been some bad management.

Tbf, this is happening all over the place in the English game. You can go to a PSG or Bayern game for less than £12 whereas watching Arsenal will set you back £90 or so!

{Ed002's Note - I m not sure why you are using the word "richest". The club is screwed by debt incurred because of mismanagement and buying players. You cannot compare it to PSG or Bayern.}
