Utterly disgusted by these soo called "Lifelong Liverpool Fan", to fly a plane calling for BR to be sacked is bad enough, buy to want Rafa back i think is even worse. I loved Rafa, but he made way too many mistakes, forced people out of the club because he thought they was out to get him and he also brought us from 2nd to 7th, in a time that was allot easier finish 4th compared to now. No fan would be happy at how our season has gone, but I couldn't agree more with Macca, what good is it sacking BR now unless we have someone like a Klopp to take over straight away? BR has changed too much in the club i feel to change the style, if Rafa came back it would take another 3 years of him changing back the style to how he wants, credit to BR we have played some of the best football seen at Anfield in many many years, probably back to the 80s. Any real supported gets behind whoever is in charge, we used to be able to boast having the best fans in the world. I can't confidently say that anymore. I see Dortmund fans now as the best, they was in the relegation zone for most of the season, but still were fully behind their team and fully behind their manager. I feel disgusted if it was real Liverpool fans who did this. We are Liverpool, we do not call for the managers head, that's why there has only been 20 managers in our entire history.

Have you not been on this site recently. It's getting ridiculous how the fans react these days.
With the players we have we are where we should be. I agree with most that money should have been spent more wisely, but as we know there is an uncertainty surrounding who actually makes decisions regarding transfers. Never the less, Rodgers should have done better with the players he's had available, but I still feel he's the right man for the job. We have seen what he can do with better players at his disposal.

Why do you think professional footballers are only capable of playing one style? And what style have we had anyway this season?

@Red-Rum, @RDL, sadly I have, but couldn't bring myself to post, as I would get too upset with some fans calling for the managers head. Agreed we should have done better this season with the players we have, I think is a combination of the influx of players not settling, players under performing and lack of confidence, yes BR has played wrong formations sometimes and has not learned from mistakes at times. I still believe he is the right man for the job, despite how frustrated I am with the performances at times. Our build up play is second to none, but we can't buy a goal this season, we lost 50 goals from last season, had we still had Suarez, or signed a world class striker, I can be confident we would be in the top 3 at least. People think Utd have a had a good season, they haven't, just they were like us last season with no european football.
@RDL, well they should be able to adapt straight away, but history suggests it doesn't work that way. BR's first season was the players adapting to his possession style game. I still believe if we invest correctly this summer we will be back up there. The only things i want see changed in the summer is getting rid of the transfer committee, because is pointless buying players the manager doesn't want, and changing the wage structure at the club. A good DOF would be brilliant too if BR was willing.

i think BR should have used the money to buy players for the formations he was going to use because he was the only one who knew what formations was going to get used , but saying that he might have had a plan for the season and it all went pear shaped because of the injuries ,

Am sorry but no matter which players we had this season, how is BR supposed to make a difference with them? His tactics and in game decisions have been suicide at times, completely unfathomable. His formation and team selections not much better. The amount of players playing out of position or in formations we all know don't suit them. In CL games he didn't even give us a chance to play, he set the team up as if we were beat already. How is the team and its players supposed to build confidence? We finally get some rhythm and he decides to drop back to possession football that cost us so dearly at the beginning of the season. We can make all the excuses for BR but he has to take the responsibly for our big failure this season IMO

BR is inept, is the conclusion I drew from all your comments.
