I actually disagree with Stevie, Jordan & BR. For me, Balotelli was not only the best penalty taker on the pitch, he's certainly only 2nd to Stevie on Penalties. I do agree about the whole scene it created, but Balotelli was the only person I'd have trusted 100% to take that penalty, just for his ability.

People will disagree, obviously, but the best thing for the team was Balotelli taking that penalty. I have to give him credit for the effort he's putting in now, does a lot more running and is finding not being a lone striker a lot better, Sturridge, Ibe & Moreno occupy people's immediate mind because of their Pace and Balotelli certainly takes advantage of that.

Not the best performance, but hey ho, a win's a win. Onto the next one.

I think Balo would be my choice but after the Boro shootout earlier in the season, anyone would have been fine.
