Any truth to the Sancho rumours? We want him now ideally, but would also be willing to agree a Naby type deal?

In short, no

Red Sandman.

Non what so ever. I think we’ve got our squad to go on all fronts next season.

Honestly i hope not, seriously can't understand the hype around Sancho, a decent player but nothing more.

He is a good player to be fair, which is more than decent. He is only young so there is so much potential to improve.

Ahahah. Sancho? And Reus? Sure, why not? Goetze hasn't been linked in ages either, I assume Dortmund won't mind selling us half their squad.

I wish.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea why this nonsense has been posted on the transfer page.}

How can a 18 year old who scored 12 and assisted 14 in the league ‘decent’ Hahahaha what more can a kid do to be called more than decent by you?

Would he displace any of our front 3? The bundesliga is not as strong as it was 4-5 years ago and a lot of young players do well there, for what he would cost, and considering the hype surronding him he would be a starter.100s of young players have 1 good season and then do Nothing but live off that hype for the rest of their careers. let's see what he does for a couple of seasons first before we call him anything other than what he currently is. Decent. Its this stupid overhyping that made a decent defender like de Ligt cost more than van Dijk. Grujic was apparantley amazing in the bundesliga last season and i see no one here clamoring for him or calling him a great player. Its all about the hype.

Like Dembele who had 1 good season and cost Barcelona 120 million £ ++++ they are doing all they can to get rid now. Needless to say i think he has potential to become a world-class player (sancho) but 100s of players have potential.

Maaaa:

First of all, Dembele flopped because of attitude and not quality.

Second of all, how can you in one breath dismiss the achievements of Sancho citing the bundesliga as not the highest quality and one season wonder to go off. When on another page you’re waxing lyrical about Kai Havertz who would be exactly the same as Sancho, only Havertz is older and involved in less goals?

Dembeles unvieling said it all i think. The kid couldn't even do one keep up when they announced him. He looked like the kid in the playground who couldn't kick a ball. i've rarely seen a pro footballer (even semi pro) who couldn't dazzle me with keep ups and tricks. I don't doubt dembele could. But he has so much pressure on him and was sold too soon. A kid thrown into the snakepit that is the Barcelona dressing room.

They, and he, would've been better off had they not signed him. There is a message there if you have the wit to see it.

I wrote back but it didn't make ut for some reason. Long story Kai Havertz is a midfielder, Sancho is a forward. I have no idea where you get Sancho had better stats because Havertz had 17 league goals compared to Sancho's 12.

I was taking into account assists and general goal involvement in which Sancho just about pips it.

You’re still ignoring how much you’ve massively contradicted yourself though.

Sancho and Havertz have both had 1 good season in the bundesliga so why should we do everything we can to buy Havertz but Sancho is just decent?

I think you'll find havertz has been brilliant in the 2017/ 2018 season too. Playing for a weeker team and is just a different Class. assists? Kai Havertz has the 3rd most clear Cut chances created in all of european leagues. Assists mean little compared to clear Cut chances. sancho is decent with great potential end discusion.

THanks for ending the discussion (a sure sign you lack the ability to continue the debate) .

In the 17/ 18 season Havertz managed 3 goals and 8 assists.

I’m not disputing that Havertz is a top talent, I’m just pointing out the fact the logic you’re using to dismiss Sancho’s talent, applies to Havertz too.

Sancho is an absolute star. without doubt he'll be one of the best players in the world. Sometimes you just see a young player and know.

I’m siding with Maaaa. Harvertz for me over Sancho. For then bench mind you.

You must be reading something Else, i never dismissed Sancho. He is just not that good yet imo. havertz was playing a lot deeper in 2017/ 2018 so those stats mean very little. i don't want to discuss this because none of them will be moving to Livepool so it's a pointless discusion really is all.
