Eds 001 there's rumours of Liverpool trying to get coutinho on loan for x2 years with a potential deal at the end of it . you heard anything about this and you think it's got any legs to it? I know you wouldn't be up to having him back and surely the way he downed tools and faked injuries to go must of left a sour taste in klopp mouth. x6 times 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.

Why so desperate Ed’s? I get he hasn’t performed and cost a lot, but seems bad to write him off after 1 year. Is his attitudes wrong?

To be fair to him I think he did well when I watched them last season. Scored some decent goals too. Perhaps if he threw himself to ground and rolled around for fun the fans might appreciate him more.

Lol would take the legs and the brain. That's about half, right? But seriously, what's with everyone doubting Coutinhos talent? He's never been all that sound defensively and should never have been recognized as Iniestas replacement if that is indeed their expectation, but he has wands for feet and links play well. Sounds impossible from a financial perspective and I'm not sure Coutinho would be able to face the fans of Liverpool either, but the talent he showed here didn't just evaporate because he put a different jersey on.

I usually agree with most player opinions you have ed but I have to disagree with you on this one. I think coutinho players excellent for us and scored some crucial goals and his link up with firminho was brilliant. Mind you I wouldn't really want him back after the faking injuries to leave the club but I do rate him highly as a footballer . I cannot comment on his Barcelona performances as I did not watch them enough.

{Ed001's Note - he only linked with Firmino - everyone was whining about that before the injury started and that he was capable of hard work but most of the time wouldn't bother tracking back. Oh and that he would shoot 80 times a game from ridiculous angles to score once every few games. Suddenly when he goes everyone forgets all his bad points, which far outweighed the good.}

All I remember of Coutinho in his final sesason was his sulking and constantly shooting from stupid angles when Mane, Firminho etc were in far better positions, it was glory hunting and selfish. That is exactly what I posted here at the time along with many others.
He also gave up working for the team. Putting all that aside, I do not think he is suited to the way Liverpool play now and that there are more dynamic, mobile players that fit the style we play.

Wands for feet 🤣🤣🤣🤣 count on 1 hand the amount of times he performed magic for us. He was an is rubbish. He wouldn’t even get in the spurs team as eriksons replacement.

Ed01, the people who want Cou back by only remembering (conveniently) his few strong points, is like how people talk about high school years saying how great they were whilst at the same time, forgetting that High School was terrible for the most part. Just my opinion.

Disagree. coutinho is class, but not for us. does not work hard enough.
It's like appreciating harry kane, but appreciating he is probably the wrong striker for us.
