Just passing on info from last week. I took a Liverpool legend to Anfield last week for the pink concert. He said it was more just to meet the new chief exec. I pushed on transfers and he said Liverpool are in talks with Bournemouth over Callum Wilson with clyne being sent the other way. Ironically, I had to take clyne to lime st the following day and asked him and he said he hadn't heard anything but he was getting a train down south with his friend. Have you heard anything eds?

Didn’t they value Wilson at over 50 million for chelsea? Seems mad money for his age and quality.

Weren’t they looking for something like £50m+? I’d walk away at a quarter of that. Plus I reckon Ryan Fraser is a far better bet and would cost less given that he’s in the last year of his contract.

Living in Bournemouth and having seen both play I would plump for Fraser, he has incredible speed which upsets defences. David Brookes would be another one to look at from the Cherries. Wilson is a good player but not at the price being quoted.

Why the heck would we sign Wilson or any striker? We have three plus wide-forwards who can play there. Absolutely no need for Wilson nor is he good enough.

Fraser and Brooks are decent players but not at the required standard for Liverpool.
