Eds and Reds,

What's the latest on Nathaniel Clyne? I literally just posted about Liverpool rumours on Hakimi and then I thought 'What happens if Clyne sticks around? '

Are we looking at promoting academy players (Hoever), using the squad depth we have (Gomez/ Fabinho) or looking to buy a right back (Hakimi) this summer?

{Ed002's Note - Right now he has been priced out of a move which limits the options to (a) welcoming him back as cover; (b) dropping the asking price; (c) seeing out his contract on loan - which makes little sense but it does happen occasionally.}

I really hope he does move on for both our sakes, he doesn’t have any drive or commitment to the team!

I’d rather use one of the youth players than him, offers nothing going forward and has done more Baloons than successfully crosses!

I personally think we should just stick with Trent, Gomez, Hoever, Fabinho and Milner. That's plenty of cover. My concern is left back where the only players we have who have played for the first team at all are Robbo and Milner. Milner shouldn't have to be relied on so heavily. Maybe we'll give chances to Gallacher, Larouci or Lewis? Larouci is probably the most talented.

{Ed002's Note - Gomez has played as a LB.}

Good point Ed002. I know people say we need cover but if we're just going to sign somebody else's academy graduate then surely there is an argument to just give one of ours a shot? You never know if someone is good enough until they are given the chance.

Plain Bread, we are fine at RB but we definetily need cover at LB.

I tend to agree max but only if it's an actual proven player. I saw links to a young Leeds player with about 5 senior games. I don't see the point in that. Rather give our own teenagers the shot. However if we can get someone like Danilo at City who is a proven pro and is happy to be cover, then go for it I say. Preferably better than Danilo mind you 😂.

P. B
In Hong Kong, we made a nickname with Cantonese about Danilo, something like "welcome road" in English.

Ed002, I remember Ed001 saying recently that Bournemouth decided not to buy Clyne because of his lifestyle.

His lifestyle is not that of a professional footballer. I can remember about two seasons ago where Clyne created this video on social media the party life' of him having a piss up in some night club for his Birthday.

Maybe that is also what is making other clubs turning down offers for him?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware Bournemouth saying that.}

Well Clyne's lifestyle is that of a teenager with gold teeth.

There is a reason why he is not featuring for Liverpool bar his injuries as he is now fully fit and why they want rid. He had no competition when he joined LFC.

Mistake signing and on high wages. That is why we are struggling to move him on.

I have absolutely no doubt that our demands are high right now, but we'll no likely budge to the highest offer that comes in over the entire of the transfer window. He clearly has no route to the first team with us and therefore pricing him out of a move only makes sense in the short term to see if anyone bites. I'm very positive that he'll be gone by the end of the transfer window.

Epic, what about Clyne's demands? Same with Mignolet. They not going to just move by cutting their wages in half.

My Cousin who was on the podium and on the team bus victory parade following Madrid (his mother and my mother are sisters) , told me last week that the "KloppFather" is very concerned with reference to Hoever, who made a Fantastic Debut against Wolves he has absolutely gone down hill the reason being Attitude i. e. "Big Head" thinks he has made the grade on one appearance.

P. S. My Cousin maintains "ABSOLUTE" confidentiality while the Premier League is in Duration and i completely "RESPECT" that Decision, as it could gravely harm the clubs progress and his employment status. I did not even ask him could he get me a ticket for Madrid (or any game i have a season ticket for the Kop behind the Goal) out of respect for fellow LFC Fans. The reason for breaking the above confidentiality is its pre-season or should that be silly rumour season and he is only an Academy player by definition, if he had of been Mainstream i would not of disclosed his conversation.

P. S. 007 "ALWAYS SITS ON IT"! no vulgarity boys/ girls?

Could palace take him if Wan Bisaka leaves?

{Ed002's Note - As I have said - the price and the wages are an issue.}
