Sky Italy: Liverpool in talks to sign Roma and Brazil goalkeeper Alisson [Kaveh Solhekol]

Liverpool have overtaken Chelsea on the race for his signature - AS Roma waiting for a last effort from Liverpool to match the €75M price tag, current offer at €70M.

Let's hope we get this done!

James Pearce, Chris Bascombe and Neil Jones all confirmed that we made a bid of 62m GBP.

I've been watching Allison play in CL and WC, don't see him much of an upgrade to Karius but he certainly has the confidence and distribution that Karius doesn't have.

When we spent 75m GBP on VVD, boy did he transform our defense with his Rolls-Royce display. Allison seems to have the Rolls-Royce swag about him.

Alisson is class, top top class. I really hope we sign him but hold your horses everybody, nothing is done until it's done. I love the news but let's not forget the Fekir situation a few weeks ago, it was done and then it wasn't etc etc. Let's keep our fingers crossed for this one and see what happens.

Red_Ed_88 I think we're more in need of a quality goalie than another midfielder so you could be right. Although I do have my doubts about Alisson, especially for that price.
