Jack Butland tba after the world cup. 19th july by all accounts

Heard it from a source who works within football.

Its the first bit of info she has ever told me. exciting to find out if i have a reliable source.

I'd love him. Much better than karius. Which is all where looking for. Aslong as it's not horrible money, I'm ok with 18-25 million.

I can understand a lot of us being underwhelmed if we signed Butland, especially after being linked with the likes of Allison and Olbak. But is he an upgrade on what we have? Probably yes, I think we've been priced out of a move for a truly world class goalkeeper. So let's hope if this rumour is true, Klopp can get the best out of him and let's support the lad! He could be a great signing for us.

I know people don’t like Migs but to even suggest he is Championship level and would drop down there in a swap is ridiculous.

I would bet he will be playing at least for a decent Europa League level team if / when he leaves.

I’d be happy if this is true, good competition for Karius. Showing faith to the lad while keeping him on his toes can only be a good thing. Much appreciated for the post.
