Salah may have signed a new contract but we now know he speaks about himself in the third person ;)
Players come and go but the contract protects us against losing a prize asset (likely increases any transfer fee in the future), acts as a good PR message that the club are moving on after the disappointment of the CL and the player has been awarded for his efforts last year. So let’s try and be positive, roll on 2018/ 19!

@WYred downvoted your post there by accident, was made up to see it let me upvote as well (strange? ) but just wanted to say I 100% agree with what you said there, I like Jurgen’s quote when he said that mo signing on shows that we reward individuals for the part they play FOR the group, and that it proves there is a home for world class talent at Anfield - that bit made me smile massively! - great way to start the season knowing 2 of the front 3 are already signed up for extensions and hopefully Mané will have some the same come August. great post lid!

Happy he signed but also worried now about the curse of the new contract, Sterling, Suarez, Couthinho (think there might be another name or two) all signed a new contract and were sold within a year.

Why is it that all of the players who want to leave Liverpool are men between the ages of 16-45?!
