Hi eds, any further forward with sorting a keeper? I know the names mentioned and I would like oblak personally. Would you be happy with him? I'm not a huge fan of butland personally, make quite a few bad mistakes last season. Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - As far as I understand Liverpool still want Alisson. I understand Macca has said it is Butland they are after. Bother are away with their respective World Cup squads.}

Do you think it's too late for clubs to get business done for players going to the world cup before it starts ed? You'd think most of the players will be fully focused on that right now. The new transfer window seems like a such a bad idea.

Thank you very much for the information ed2. It is very much appreciated. As is all information from posters offered on the site. Whether or not it is information I wish to hear, I’m not going to drag my knuckles and act disrespectively just because it might not be something I want to hear. Instead I will simply read what has been presented to me at this time and possibly offer a thought or two. My preference is that we support Karius and not buy a new number one, but instead of sending abuse ed2’s way I’ll attempt a little decorum. This site is an incredible place to post, let’s show a little respect where possible. (I speak to the absolute minorities here)

Thanks for the update Ed. I see Allison as a massive upgrade on our current keepers. Just the same as Keita is a massive upgrade for the midfield.
