Cause he's an absolute arse whose level of professionalism makes Balotelli look like a model footballer? Cause he's 29 and relies almost entirely on pace to beat opposition, so is unlikely to last as a top level goalscorer much longer (assuming he avoids a major injury)? Because he's a huge pot of money to join the squad, yet there is no natural place for him to take with Firmino being immensely talented and free scoring this season and our wide forwards nailed down? Meanwhile, other parts of the field badly need development? Take your pick of which reason makes more sense to you.

Even if klopp was a fan, which not many managers seem to be due to lack of interest. for the 60m arsenal are seemingly prepared to offer, is he going to come and sit on the bench for that fee or is he going to displace firmino who at the minute is having his best season?

Tbh Evitt I'm not surprised,

Where would he play? Documented that Klopp and PEA don't get on? Crazy wages? Plenty of baggage?

I'm not sure where he would fit in, if you look at the team at the moment they put in just as much effort in winning the ball back and defending as they do in attacking an moving off the ball. A quality player no doubt but I fear he has a similar defensive effort as Studge which would make him a potential weak link for the press.

If you look at the prodigious work rate Bobby has you can see why he has a preference for that type of player. to my mind only really Suarez showed the hunger to do the hard yards as well as the ability to be a true striker.
