Makes me laugh all the negative players on here that don't want him but most of them were crying out for chillwrll last year who would of cost more money, had no or little prem experience and had never seen him play. I must be honest I'm not excited about the signing because of you want to challenge at the top you have to challenge for the top players and you haven't seen the likes of Man City/ Utd, Chelsea, arsenal of spurs interested. But I for one want to see the lad to well and hopefully he can knuckle down and prove some of his doubters wrong.

Pegleg, of the fee was £25m I reckon you would change your tune suddenly. No one else was interested in Salah, we paid massive sums for him.
Too many people look at the price and think it reflects the quality, it doesn't. Hyypia is proof.
Robertson is a young LB with Prem Experience and a full international. What he offers to our team is worth far more than £8m, I would say the value of having a proper LB outweighs the value of another forward player (Salah) but that's not how it works. You pay what you pay on a deal by deal basis. Ridiculous to state he isn't good enough for United, City, Tottenham. The fact that 3 of those don't need a LB doesn't seem to have into your realisation. I'm sure he was linked with United a season or two ago.
I think he will be a great signing, adding a lot of balance to our back line.

Considering the deal for Stewart would be for around half the fee of Robertson, I think we're doing splendidly. 23 YO Scottish international with a left boot for circa 5-6 million.

Anfieldandy I'm actually begging the signing I'm just stating that if you want to compete at the top you need to compete with the top and go for the likes of Mandy or if you want potential then tiernay. But he's an improvement on what we've got so I'll get behind him. My post was more to point out people aren't happy if he signs but the same people wanted chillwell who would of cost more and would've been more of a gamble.
