Tried the search engine, Ed. Couldn't see anywhere if you said, but does the Julian Brandt link have any truth or possibility to it?

Liverpool certainly took a look at that time as well. He moved to Bayer Leverkusen in Janauary 2014 and continued to attract attention from Arsenal who made an approach in the summer of 2014. This past summer he was not for sale. He is still young and no doubt this January will see further interest but I suspect he will stay where he is. There has been no approach from Liverpool.}

I think you mixed up Wolfsburg and Leverkusen.

I assume it should have read {Ed002's Note - Winger Julian Brandt turned down a contract extension from Bayer Leverkusen with, Wolfsburg, Manchester United etc as he plays for Leverkusen. No biggie though as it's obvious what you meant.

{Ed002's Note - That was in the summer of 2013 when he played for Wolfsburg, so it is correct.}
